ELLEN ELIZABETH RODENBECK, 46, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born May 19, 1959, in Fort Wayne, she graduated from the Deaconess Program at Valparaiso University and had been a Deaconess at Lutheran Home for sometime. She is a graduate of St. Paul's Lutheran Grade School and Concordia Lutheran High School. She had an avid interest in antiques. She was a member of Remnant Christian Church, Wallen Road. "She had a kind spirit and a generous loving heart." Survived by her mother, Bernice K. Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne; sisters, Madelyn M. (John C.) Tyson of Eustis, Fla, Emily J. (Rev Dr. Michael) Eschelbach, Eunice E. (Dr. Steven) Wert and Linda E. (Kerry) Marshall, all of Fort Wayne; brother, David A. (Vickie) Rodenbeck of Valparaiso; and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin F. Rodenbeck, in 2002. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1126 S. Barr St., with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
